Timeline
- Conception of the Idea: Adam Wiseman establishes East Coast Corporate & Group Xperiences with the goal of offering a unique team-building experience.
- Introduction of Activities: Initial activities include Segway Seglympics, Laser Clay Shooting, and Giant Human Foosball.
- Expansion with Guided off road Segway Tours: A guided Segway tour is introduced into the Hunter Wetlands Centre Newcastle, catering not only to corporate groups but also to the general public.
- Second Segway Tour: Due to the popularity of the Wetlands Segway tour, a second tour is introduced in the Hunter Valley at the Rydges Hunter Valley property (formerly Crowne Plaza).
- Relocation to Hunter Valley Resort: The company outgrows the Rydges property and moves to the Hunter Valley Resort, which provides access to various terrains, vineyards and expands the reach of team-building activities across NSW and the ACT.
- Introduction of the NSW Segway Brand: The NSW Segway brand is introduced to complement the East Coast Corporate & Group Xperiences brand, targeting specific groups ranging from families to large international companies.
- Hunter Valley Farm & Adventure Centre: The Hunter Valley Farm & Adventure Centre is built to house NSW Segway and Hunter Valley Horses.
- Addition of 4 Pines Brewery: The 4 Pines Brewery is built onsite, providing a convenient fit for conferencing clients, offering in-house team building, conferencing, catering, and accommodation solutions.
- Purpose-Built Team Building Facility: A purpose-built facility is conceived on the property, featuring a 7-lane Segway Seglympics course, a 3-lane Archery centre, and a Giant Human Foosball Field.
- Activities Deck Expansion: A 220sqm activities deck is built, incorporating an 8-lane Axe Throwing Centre, a raised deck for Laser Clay Shooting, and a section for the newly developed Viking Games program – unique to Australia.
- Corporate Day trip tours were introduced, allowing company event planners to choose our inclusive and exclusive staff packages.
- Vision for the Future: The vision is set to establish the Hunter Adventure Centre as the go-to venue for families and corporate team-building events in the Hunter Valley while continuing to operate as a mobile service around NSW.
